Another delayed correspondence, my apologies. There were a handful of 717′ers representing at the Pennsylvania Disc Golf Championships on June 5-6. Results can be seen online. There are also a grip of pictures to be seen as well. The important news from States is that Russell beat me. That is all.
While we were away at States a group was still battling for tags.

Tuesday June 15 Recap
From Matt Swartz:Russell and I got a round in tonight at the falls. I had the 6 tag and Russell had the 8 tag. He beat me 59(30 and 29) to 65(34 and 31) so we switched tags. Highlights from the round include Russell birdied 4, 5, 14B, and 17B and I birdied 9 (skipped about two feet behind the basket, thought i had an ace), 11B, and 14B.
The 3rd Annual Whispering Falls Harvest is on the PDGA schedule! Online registration should be up soon. Please preregister and make it easier on your TD’s!
This also brings to my next two very important points.
1. Course prep: Watch for a list to come soon detailing what needs to be done and what we would like to be done. Mark your calender, June 27th will be a course work day. Please try to come out and lend a hand for at least an hour or two; many hands make light work.
2. Fund raising: I know no one is psyched about asking people for money, but just consider this- There are 24 tag holders, and numerous others that get this list that aren’t tag holders. If each one of us raises $100, we’re looking at $3000+. How many of you have a favorite restaurant? Garage? Daycare or barber shop? Think about printing off a letter and handing it to someone. What’s the worst they can say? No? How many of your employer’s do community outreach and support programs? We are the community and we support the community. All it takes is 2 minutes to print the letter and hand it to someone. Simple as that.
And if you sponsor $25 then you’ll only have to raise $75…
I’ll see you on the course!
-Brad
